These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the RiverTrends mobile application ("App") operated by RiverTrends ("we", "our", or "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using RiverTrends, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

RiverTrends is a news aggregation application that delivers trending headlines and curated news digests. Content displayed in the App is sourced from publicly available feeds and licensed editorial APIs, and is editorially processed to provide concise summaries.

3. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's servers or networks
• Scrape, harvest, or collect content from the App by automated means
• Redistribute or republish App content without permission

4. Subscriptions and Payments

RiverTrends Pro is an optional subscription that unlocks additional features. Key terms:

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device's subscription settings (App Store or Google Play)
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google in accordance with their respective policies
• Prices may vary by region and are displayed in your local currency at the time of purchase

5. Free Trial

If a free trial is offered, it will convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless cancelled. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited upon purchasing a subscription.

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, and original editorial content, is owned by RiverTrends and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. News content displayed in the App is attributed to its respective sources. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

7. Content Disclaimer

RiverTrends aggregates and summarizes news from third-party sources. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any content. The App is not a substitute for professional advice. Views expressed in news articles belong to their respective authors and sources, not to RiverTrends.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RiverTrends shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which RiverTrends operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
